Taxpayers who received informational income tax calculations by regular mail at the end of May or early June have until Thursday, June 30, 2016, to file an objection if they find that the information in the informational calculation is incorrect or incomplete or their tax liability is under- or over-estimated. The objection is submitted to the address indicated in the informative income tax calculation (in the lesson on legal remedies).

The objection form is available at all financial offices and at FURS website.

Based on the objection, the tax authority will issue an income tax decision to the taxpayer.

However, if the taxpayers agree with the informational calculation, i.e. they assess that the actual situation is as stated on the informational income tax calculation, they do not have to do anything, because the informational calculation will automatically become a decision within 30 days of dispatch.

The deadline for additional payment of underpaid income tax is August 1, 2016, and overpaid income tax will be transferred to taxpayers on July 29, 2016.
