In the case of part-time work, the worker is entitled to at least a pro rata share of the minimum wage.
It follows from the basic wording of the law that the minimum wage includes all the elements of a wage as set out in the Labour Relations Act, i.e. the basic salary of the employee for a given month, the performance component of the salary and the allowances to which the employee is entitled, with the exception of the allowance for working overtime. 2020, the allowances provided for by laws, regulations and collective agreements, the part of the salary for merit and performance pay agreed by collective agreement or employment contract shall not count towards the minimum wage. This means that, as from 1 January 2011, the minimum wage shall be paid on the basis of the minimum wage.

All allowances are excluded from the minimum wage:
- night work allowance,
- Sunday work allowance,
- an allowance for working on public holidays and public holidays, as provided by law.
Employers will have to add to the minimum wage a length-of-service bonus, a working conditions bonus, a performance and/or merit component, etc.
In addition, reimbursements of expenses which the employer is obliged to pay to the employee (e.g. reimbursement of meals during work, transport to and from work, travel expenses) cannot be included in the minimum wage, nor can other employment benefits (e.g. annual leave allowance, severance payments, jubilee awards).
