On April 15, 2017, ZGD-1J entered into force, which stipulates that the application for the registration of a company, change of data or deletion of a company can be filed at most 1 month in advance and no longer three months in advance, as was the case before.
It is still valid that the entrepreneur must apply for the registration of the s.p. or its branches to attach a certified statement of the owner of the facility, if he is not the owner of the facility at the business address. However, verification of the statement is no longer required if the owner submits it in person at the VEM point or if the owner is the Republic of Slovenia or a self-governing local community.
Certification is still not required if the owner is a state or municipal fund that is responsible for housing matters.
