On October 21, 2017, an amendment to the Labor Market Regulation Act (ZUTD-D) came into effect, which now stipulates that the employee must register in the jobseeker register no later than three working days after the notice has been served. The record of job seekers is not the same as the record of unemployed persons. If the worker does not register on time in the register of jobseekers, for the first three months his unemployment benefit will amount to only 60% of the basic amount (but not less than EUR 350), instead of 80%. To a cash benefit recipient with a lower or secondary education, who will enter into a full-time employment relationship during the period of entitlement to cash compensation, the institute will pay an employment incentive of 20% of the last paid net salary until the end of the period, but no more than 12 months after employment. the amount of monetary compensation. Otherwise, participants in public works and those who have acquired education for a deficient profession will not be entitled to the incentive.
Upon the first violation of the obligation, the recipients of monetary compensation will be sanctioned in the form of a reduction of the monetary compensation by 30% or at most up to the minimum amount of monetary compensation (350 EUR gross) instead of immediate termination. In the event of a repeat violation, the recipient will lose the right to compensation (as a result of ceasing to be kept in the register of unemployed persons).
